Definite maybe, I'm almost sure something would break, especially something of the rubber nature.
Mine already did. Drove it across a few years ago with my daughters, we did the southern route in the middle of the summer, through Death Valley at 125 degrees, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, etc etc. We all had a great time, and the car never missed a beat, nor did it ever show any signs of overheating in the extreme heat.

I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
