This past weekend was the St. Louis Spring Fling event held in Washington, Missouri. It is always the 1st weekend in May. It starts off on Friday night with a welcoming party and parking lot tour. Saturday morning there is always a road rally that is also a contest to compete with others for fun. The rally ends at a winery where we relax, drink some wine and have a snack. Then we head over to the Hatcher household for an art contest that includes a lot of Alfa conversation. Saturday evening, there is a banquet for some more meet and greet pleasure. Sunday morning consists of an always eventful autocross and mini concourse. This year we had 28 cars with people from Kansas City, MO, AL, IA, TN, KS, and KY. This year was smaller than last year, but still was a load of fun with a great crowd!
Friday night did not start very well for my wife and I. My wife lost the trailer pulling our SS, going up a hill. Luckily, there was no damage to the car, only the trailer. This shook her up a bit, so we switched and she drove my car and I pulled the trailer.
