join the Junior Z Yahoo group

Hey Folks,

As we are pretty spread out as a community, I thought it might be useful to have a yahoo group to post messages, information and questions too.

I was lucky enough to be a member of the 750/101 group as I was restoring a 101 Spider - it was invaluable having access to so much collective experience (and secret stashes of parts).

I suspect that the collective energy of that (fairly large) group has greatly contributed to 750/101 owners having greater visibility and greater consumer influence. Posts to that list helped to articulate the demand for parts to the various parts dealers and repro-bits manufacturers who were themselves members (e.g. Tony of Alfa Stop, Centerline folks, Biba, etc).

It also provides a place for us to post important and useful documentation as well as photographs of our various 1300/1600 project and restored cars, rare parts, documentation, etc.

I'll post the documents I have thus far (thanks Olaf!). Feel free to share whatever else you have - I can keep posting for now until there's enough structure in the site so people can do it themselves.

If you want to join the group send me your email and I'll subscribe you.

One thing I want to do is start planning for a 2010 trip to Europe in my Junior Z. I'm hoping to connect with other Jr Z owners who are interested in meeting up in Italy for Alfa's 100th b-day. Seeing as I live and drive in California USA, planning might as well start now...

my email is brian_okelley@yahoo.com if you want to respond off list.

cheers,
Brian
