Well, the original Alfetta GT had ALL in common with the Alfetta expect for the two-door body. Technically the two cars are indistinguishable, except for the GTs shorter prop shaft. Inside, even the centre console was the same. To my knowledge the dashboard is interchangable between early GTs and sedans.

I think Biba is refering to the famous Alfetta race car of the 50s
