This Site is So Slow.....
At home I'm always logged in so I only use the "Quick Links" to do pretty much whatever I want, so I don't experience some of the loading, log-in problems that Jim described. However, at work where I'm not logged in but have a much faster connection than at home, I do experience the dead green screen and sometimes it will not move past there and I have to back out with the back arrow and re-log in again. Once the message comes up that says you're being redirected, click here if your system doesn't take you to the page, I'm usually fine. The other thing I experience is that when I click the numbers to switch pages at the bottom or top, they do not always load. I get a message that says it's an invalid command or the page cannot be found. I use the back arrow, and click on the page again and it usually loads.
I had dismissed these things as other people's problems since where I work has had significant problems lately with Vista bugs and has both Cisco and Microsoft working on patches or fixes so that log-in can be accomplished by MAC users. PCs seem to be o.k. because PCs are using XP Professional, but we keep getting virtual memory adjustment messages and the system has been much slower than usual. A pain, to say the least.
