Durability is good, depending on how much handling/wear they get after installation.
First used the kit on my GTV in 2000 and items such as cam cover bolts needed to be redone last year. On some parts like the brake lines, I painted with clear acrylic after plating and they still look like new. The fun part is plating odd shaped or long parts. I used a long plastic pan to do the brake lines.
You can see in the pics that I put all of the hardware from an assembly in a ziploc bag and mark it's location. Really helps reassembly!
