A vacation here? Me? No, just been sidetracked by the unlooked for but not unappreciated appearance of 58 Sprint Veloce 6917 as seen elsewhere on the BB. For all my contortions to make the deal happen I have managed to keep working on the SS, though only a few small parts at a time. The following pictures prove that even 30 minutes a day can yield results if you stick to it and enough days go by. Latest excitements include finding the rare Veloce rear brake backing plates and emergency brake cable assembly, a perfect original horn button and serviceable fuse box cover. Floors from Wolf arrived last week. If I was looking for floors I could close my eyes and point the welding wand at and two hours later have perfect factory replica floors I'd be disappointed, but considering what I am starting with and not wanting to spend $3000 to get a set from Italy I am happy, now on to those welding lessons!

I guess this makes it about 50 hours spent, 950 to go.
