Still waiting for the header to come back from the welder,
so I have been getting the steering sorted out. The S2000
tranny bellhousing is huge! I bought some adapters from
Speedway that drop the steering rod about 4". One problem
was that the Alfa rod ends have a taper of 5 degrees (my
calculation). And the Speedway drop links have a 10 degree
taper. So had to buy a special tapered reamer, and weld
an extension on my steering arms. When I installed it all,
the new hemi joint hit the lower A-arm cup. Removed the
cup, and it swings freely, but with very little clearance.
Now need to make a slightly bent steering connector rod
to tie it all together.
