Don, what is the build date of your car?
Hello Gianni and other members,

This is what I came up with from the book of Maurizio Tabucchi called 'Alfa Romeo, Die Komplette Typenhistorie' published by Heel in 2000.

It says about the righthand drive 2000 GTV chassisnumbers of 1974 (105.22) that they include the chassisnumbers of 1975.
The same could apply for the US models and perhaps also for the European models.

Chassisnumbers of the 2000 GTV (1971 and 1972 not included)

1971 (from Tabucchi)
Left hand drive 105.21: 2420001 up to 2427650
Right hand drive 105.22: 2410001 up to 2410250
America (inizione) 115.01: none

1972 (from Tabucchi)
Left hand drive 105.21: 2427650 up to 2433790 (correction from the book)
Right hand drive 105.22: 2410251 up to 2412050
America (inizione) 115.01: 3020001 up to 3020951 and 3021501 up to 3021717

1973 (Tabucchi)
Left hand drive 105.21: 2433791 up to 2444050
Right hand drive 105.22: 2412051 up to 2413734
America (inizione) 115.01: 3021718 up to 3022800

1974 (Tabucchi)
Left hand drive 105.21: 2444051 up to 2445676
Right hand drive 105.22: 2413735 up to 2414649 (including 1975 production)
America (inizione)115.01: 3023001 up to 3023900

1975 (Tabucchi)
Left hand drive 105.21: 2445677 up to 2446580
Right hand drive 105.22: 2413735 up to 2414649 (including 1974 production)
America (inizione)115.01: 3025901 up to 3027089

Fusi in 'Tutte le Vetture dal 1910' published by Emmeti Grafica in 1978 mentions different chassisnumber ranges for the 1971 and 1972 years. I don't know which one is better so I use the Tabucchi numbers because they range from 1971 until 1975.

Ciao, Olaf
