Alfa 33 quattro wagon
I was just thinking the other day about my next possible project and I was considering trying to convert a 33 wagon to rwd only.
I've got a p4 gearbox here that I've been looking at, and from what I can see the main shaft that runs the front diff just goes all the way through and runs out the back.
In the p4 it hooks upto a viscous coupling to provide the ever changing split, but in a 4x4 wagon, I assume the link is purely mechanical - so I was wondering what would happen if you disconnected the front drive shafts and engaged the 4x4 system, would it make the car purely rwd?
I'm curious, thinking of trying to make an alfa drift car. Ideas?
