Unless you are a checkbook mech then it is helpful! I had a conversation with neighborhood buds during happy hour today and one of them ask who I got to fix daughter's 164 a/c and weren't parts expensive. When I said I did it and my Alfa bud gave me compressor they were amazed as they don't even change their own oil.
