Ok, so this is just one more reason I really like owning Alfa's: On the strength of few emails and a phone conversation, the PO offered to replace the T-belt and water pump for me, get the wheels balanced and box and palletize the spares so that I can ship them common carrier! That's a heck of a lot of work to do for a stranger (I suspect if he knew me it would have been another story...). And it really helps me put this whole adventure together.

So the family (yes I even had the guts to admit what I had up my sleeve to my wife!) flies down at the end of the month and has mini vacation before the Alfa caravan begins it trek up north. Perhaps I should post my itinerary with check points along the way. I can just see the gathered crowds straining to get a glimpse of the three Alfa slipping through the rarefied atmosphere of the fast lane...

You 164 guys aren't bad after all!
