Like I said before. The engine hit that many revs but it was not for an extended time. Maybe 3 or four seconds at a time. I'm not going to get into a DD engineering session. All I know is the tach in the car was pretty accurate and when I checked the "replay" it gave me the highest rpm I had hit. It may have been off by 2 or 3 hundred rpm but I wasn't running a tach tester in the car when I drove it.
Who cares any way? The car is long gone and I am just telling it how I saw it.
