lol, no joke, and no offense, but I'm in their boat too.
the main thing I'm having grasping is how the rocker arms and push rods are able to handle those kinds of forces.
We used welded diffs for drifting. I was thinking about welding an open diff to campaign my Verde, but sliding an Alfa seemed way too costly after things were added up (steering racks, drive shaft donuts, clutches, hydraulic hand brake, other dumb !@#$)
