Toon, I started the thread and thanks for all the help my car is running. I'm enjoying the hijack so I don't mind, but like you, I find 9k on one of these motors hard to accept. I've kept quiet as there are far more knowledgeable people here than me. Personally I don't have funds for a rebuild, so my factory redline will be where I take my motor, and not a penny more. But as for 9k, I'm filing that one with the Easter bunny and tooth fairy for the time being. Sorry Paul
