In the interest of cleaning up and restoring my jack, I extended it all the way until the shaft came out of the tube. I wasn't expecting a whole bunch of ball bearings to come out, too, but they did. Was this a bad thing? How do they do go back and where?

Any advice or sympathy would be appreciated....
