perhaps # 003 renewed the center facia in later? it also is of different material and color; now black insteat of thin metal sheet and shiny.
i believe the side markers on car # 442 are custom made.(by the previous owner?) At that time they were quite normal for European cars registered in the US. US shipped Mercedes cars had the same side markers front and rear. It had something to do with US regulations.
