I've been "PM'ed yet again about the paint on the TransAm #33... here's the scoop for those that are interested...
The original ('71, '72) TransAm race car was raced all across the country. Given that this was hard fought professional racing it was important to be able to do repair work on the run.... Often between sessions or overnight. So the colors we selected were as follows:
Red: Was a standard Chevy engine paint
White: Was a Krylon "Appliance White"
Green: Was a standard Dodge engine paint
This allowed us to get rattle cans of the right paint anywhere there was a Pep Boys...

I'm looking forward to seeing Roman's #93 in its original unrestored livery... there should be samples of the above mentioned paint on the ex-Midgley car!
