History: The car was converted from a GTV street car to a vintage racecar by Dr. Sergio Perticucci and Alan Ward in 1993, and competed extensively in Club and Vintage racing events. Rick Clemente purchased the car in 2005. Today it is active in AROSC, SCCA Vintage, USRRC Senior’s Tour, VARA (2006 / 2007 B/Sedan Champion), Southwest Motorsports and HSRW.

TransAm Heritage: The current Owner / Driver was the Crew Chief on the late Charlie Thieriot’s TransAm Alfa Romeo GTA, which was famously destroyed in Turn Six at Riverside International Raceway in one of the last of the classic TransAm events. The goal with the new car is to duplicate the performance characteristics and appearance of the original as closely as possible. The new car laps within about a second of the original.
