I was intrigued when I first saw this gearbox. What is it? So with each new post hoping for an answer, I would look at the box and it became more and more of a mystery (as I was trying to see it as normal Alfa splitcase 5 speed). How does it work? Hmmmm. So after staring at the thing for 30 minutes, it would appear that this box is a 5 speed with no direct drive and no reverse. If correct, it's like no Alfa gearbox I've heard of.
