Well, one of my hard air lines cracked after two weeks. Maybe Alfa knew what they were doing when they made the air line with bellows in between each tube. There must be some vibrations going on. Maybe that's why all the manifolds are in two pieces too.
I think I'll have to adapt the Alfa one. I don't have much room between the #4 exhaust and the brake MC lines, so that's why I went for a custom low profile job. I chose a local machinist too that didn't have the tool to make an inferted flare fitting in metric, so we went with existing brass fittings and he used most of his skill in making the log and individual tubes. On my Euro Alfetta manifold I used Merritt Carden who adapted the Alfa one to his custom bungs. I live farther away from him now, so I chose a local guy.
I will need to revisit my air injection rail. Maybe some of the US experts on the Spica section, exhuast section, or Alfa-Digest can shed some light on the bellows of the US air rail. Every air rail I've seen in the junk yards are all hard lines with no bellows.
