its coming along slowly but nicely....finished gerabox rebuild, replaced synchros, bearings etc.....now working on the differential...limited slip diff conversion...

In the mean time I have been sorucing parts locally in Australia, Germany and USA because the aussie dollar is so strong with the USD has been great to trade in. I have been slowly stock piling, recording inventory for all the bits and pieces I need....latest edition is the SACHS clutch kit, new toggle switches, rubber grommet kits out of Germany from Gabbi at Alfa Service....I had shipped in from the US a set of Weber DCOE 45's from Steve at Top End Performance in California ( a pleasure to deal with and the product is fantastic!!). I scored some awesome NOS original Carello outer and inner headlight/high beam lenses on the weekend...from Milano spares in Melbourne...

I have rechromed all chrome pieces from the rims and housing for instrumentation, the gearshift rod, to handbrake rod and the outer door handles, headlight / tail light trims...all the chrome work looks awsome!!

Body wise, its been a little slow, but suits me perfectly....I have sent all the appropriate repair panels to my panel guy and he is doing a magnificent job, a work of art....!!!!

I have been meaning to get to the panel shop to check the progress and update my photos...hopefully this week I will sneak out of work and pay a visit and upload te photos.

Who have been terrible to deal with...Apologies in advance for the negativity, but at least you now have been warned

AlfaBBer Targa Florio!! From my experince with him, I suggest you dont deal with him, when it comes to the business of parts....he has been stringing me around for some time...he claims to manufacture the double axle straps for 105, and to provide me the double axle straps, he lists them on ebay, took my money but in fact does not have any in stock and could not deliver...he has been stringing me along for a couple of weeks and has no integrity in business - complete waste of time...and as I have promised I have now expressed my treatment by this guy as a warning to others in this forum....

Next...back to a more constructive and positive notes:

1. sending off electrical loom to be completely refreshed, tested and redone
2. converting the fuse gang box with a modern fuse setup....
3. Re-upholserting interor with new leather
4. Now that I have the clutch kit, I can continue to have the engine/crank shaft machined and balance.
5. machine the engine head to suit new stainless steel valves and kit.
6. Polish up cam cover....
7. With the arrival of heater valve I can assemble to blower heater box.
8. With the arrival of the chrome trim surrounds for my odmoneter/tachometer and centre console gauges I can get the instrumentation re-calibrated and sealed up.
9. With the arrival of my chrome pieces and toggle switches, I can re-assemble the dashboard and all sub components.
