I just bridge connections 86 to 87 on the red fuel quality relay to tell the motronic it has 95 octane rather than 97. I have fitted a toggle switch on the center console so I can switch whilst driving.
Injectors: Clean them with WD40 assemble the rail & then frig the fuel relay to run the pump. recirculate the fuel for 30mins or so back to tank. My engine had been stood for a couple of years, yet no injector problems with this method.
