ok guys...
I have now have organised my rear lens assemblies...with thanks to Papajam for his sale of Original Carello lenses...I have re-threaded the original LHS and RHS steel backing plates, (had to carefully drill out the 30year old rusted screws that had snapped inside the mounting points)
and have sent this off with the chrome surround trim to be completely rechromed...once they are all married together with the lenses...I will package these and put away waiting for the day when the body comes back from the spray painter (in 7 months)...
My next small sub project are the front indicator assemblies, polish up and refurbish the lenses...Im a little confused though..
..below I have attached an image of the LHS and RHS assemblies...the bottom one has a stainless steel base assembly and the top on does not....have I simply have a piece missing or is one from one model and the other suit for another model?? Can someone provide some advice here....
