I spoke with Joe today and also learned of the backing. Most unfortunate! As a possible solution, a used set of OEM LHD veneers (that do not have this backing) could probably have the backs varnished and used on a RHD. If it comes to this, please let me know; I probably have some used veneers that I could donate to the cause.
