Hi guys. Been following this with fascination. My two cents: I personally prefer originality for the experience of it. It feels right and lets me know what it was like to drive these cars in period. Later buyers can always fix whatever you do, so do what you want (but save that 1750 lest it fall into an eternity of frankenzilla carhood). But I think you'll be happier doing it right, which is to say original. I'm speaking of your happiness, not the car's, about which I care but its your car.
