Perhaps must take some photo shots to give the idea what I'm asking: The car is (was) a Giulia super 1300 with a 2l engine propably from the Alfetta range. It has back and under the manifold the oil presure sender, but is a small type not the big one I knew from other 105s like my Berlina 2L. On the dash side there is an instrument for oil pressure and not some light for low oil pressure. I checked the line to the dash and the instrument by giving earth to it goin from max to zero when it was earthed. Connected with the small oil presure sender the instrument shows only max , the same as if it is unwired. Thus, must have two options: the gauge is of or, it isn't match with the inside resistance of the old Giulia's dash instrument. The oil presure itself shows anytime big resistance. Actually, I don't have any data for the oil presure senders to have any reference. On the other hand, there is nothing, wired or a sender or a hole for a sender from the exchaust side (like a low presure warning). And the funny thing is that here where I join Giulia I dont have the Berlina to check its trusty big oil sender unit on Giulia's instrument.Don't have a new sender, too. Is there any chance to see what is goin on with a dif trick?
