I have a 1985 Quattro Monte Carlo which I have owned for most of it's life. It's been a daily driver all that time so is not as pristine as some of the beautifully maintained and restored examples seen in this thread.
It had a full mechanical, suspension and steering overhaul by John French about 10 years ago and was in storage for a couple of years while I was overseas. I'm driving it every day now but have a niggle in that it only idles on 3 cylinders until it warms up.
The engine was endowed with extra go after the rebuild and the suspension was refreshed with yellow Koni's. The Monte Carlo suspension is lowered and equipped with a sway bar from the factory, so it handles particularly well.
It is about as original as you will ever see but the body is showing signs of age with rust in the usual places and a few dings and scrapes. I may get it resprayed and tidied up at some point. I'll get some pics together when I get a chance.
