There is a genuine Giulia TI Super in Australia that also has the sliding block rear end. The car won the Sandown 6-hour race in both 1964 and 65 against opposition such as Lotus Cortina, Mustang, Mini Cooper and Jag Mk2. It's a 'straight' TI Super - no reference to GTA, although as mentioned in other posts, the TI Supers were supposedly used as development cars for the GTA program. In this case the car's importer seems to have had close links to the Alfa factory, including the services of an Alfa factory driver (Roberto Bussinello) to drive their GTA in the same Sandown race - which didn't go the distance. Viva la TI Super! It's no surprise that bits were interchanged - the TI Super in the old mag pic has GTA wheels.
