Well think I'll start looking for some anyway and whenever a set come up will buy them. My set up is very stiff, what with the shocks, autodelta (UK) springs, poly bushes, and OMP strut brace. And as its so stiff I guess cracks could well be an issue in the future, especially as I'm not exactly a 'soft' driver!!

Simply go to your local steel merchant and buy some tube ... weld into car, or flatten ends and drill hole, bend, etc. and bolt into car.
Pretty simple stuff ... don't get ripped off by paying Alfa Romeo prices for a < $10 bit of steel.

ps: If you have not stiffened your car via rollcage then it will crack anyway ...
