Simply go to your local steel merchant and buy some tube ... weld into car, or flatten ends and drill hole, bend, etc. and bolt into car.

Pretty simple stuff ... don't get ripped off by paying Alfa Romeo prices for a < $10 bit of steel.

ps: If you have not stiffened your car via rollcage then it will crack anyway ...
