you need to look mostly outside the USA to find the great racing. British & European touring car and DTM are a blast to watch. of course there is always WRC.
i think that motorcycle racing is where the real action is at. MotoGP and world superbike are really fantastic, but the most riveting is the TT racing and "road racing" in Ireland, the most famous being the Isle of Mann. i think most Americans used to roundy-round racing would have their heads explode if they saw that
