Hi guys, I have a similar dilema with my Berlina 2000 as it sits low at the rear and I would like to rectify this. I have a spare pair of springs that came with the car and i'm considering fitting them just to see if they are any better. I don't see much point in measuring them against other springs when off the car/unloaded as the lengths could be the same but with a different strength/rating, the car therefore would sit at different heights once the load of the car is applied to the springs. (Never mind the length, feel the quality!!! ) I think i've read somewhere about the measured value mentioned in the first post being adjusted by using shims (presumably on the spring seats/mounts).
