We were there back in the early '90s and I have the scars to prove it!
We were told that the old banked circuit was closed to the public, so we snuck in by climbing over a barbed wire fence, which shredded my jeans, and the skin underneath. Once inside, we saw that there was a gate leading in that was wide open
.
We watched the race from the grandstand on pit straight. Great view of the cars.
We were fortunate to be traveling with Phil Hill, who managed to get us into the Ferrari F1 race team work shop in Modena.
