'86 Graduate: no spark after reworking injectors

Simple if effective misery: We have a new '86 Graduate that ran (very) rough. Removed plenum, injetor rail, injectors and associated stuff. Replaced fuel lines rail-injector and cold start solenoid. Disconnected battery while doing this and did compression checks during project. (#3 cyl weak but comes back with oil in cyl: hoping for stuck ring that will break loose with MarvMystOil or similar).

Son reconnected ECU harness and fuel pump fuse, probably quire respectably. Car now has no spark. Cannot yet say fuel pressure is OK, as haven't measured it. Car used to spark, now doesn't. My Bosch fuel inj. manual doesn't help, nor do the other manuals I have. Is there a spark enable from the fuel or electrical system in the Bosch L-jetronic systems?

Help please.... A hint or a reference to a post would be welcome. I have tried there, but get nothing relevant on "no start" or even "no apark".

Thanks a BUNCH in advance.
