Disks vs. Drums

Subtle:

Well, sticking with drums will keep things simpler. I am unsure what will be involved in mounting your Giulietta rear drums onto your '84 differential. Of course, all 750 - 115 Alfas used the same wheel bolt pattern, so the drums (and of course, wheels) should fit OK. But, how to adapt the drum backing plates to the flanges on the differential tubes? Does anyone know what is involved in this conversion?

I have never seen a car with front drums and rear disks, but suppose it might work - that is, you might start out by just keeping the ATE disks on the rear of your car, and see how it works.
