re. piston ring gaps, what do you recommend as clearance? And if purchasing an after-market set, e.g. Hastings, Deves, Total Seal etc, should you just go with their recommendations? I'd prefer to hand-gap mine as I've got a neat little tool that does the job perfectly. I'm also thinking 1750 here, no other engine.
