Well, depending upon how much it costs to get the skirts knurled, I don't see why not to do it. Same for over-sized rings by 0.05 mm. That's not a whole lot of room. One would expect the rings and skirts to keep the piston aligned (or I would, anyway). Unless you're looking for high power, high revs.
This really IS a question, by the way, if anyone with either info or opinions comes across it.
