For me the point of no return on a Giulietta would be the rear trailing arm mounts. If they're crumbling I'd walk away. Floors and rockers are a pain but not unexpected. Does it have an engine? Before you hand over the money ask yourself "Is this a car that I'm willing to spend 6 years of my life or 50K to bring back?" Yes, you can save a Bunch of money by doing the work yourself but it will be a LOT of work. If it's cheap enough and you have a place to store it then you could buy it and sit on it for a year or so before making that decision. Just don't start taking it all apart until you're absolutely sure of the commitment. If you loose interest when it's all in pieces, chances are pretty good that it will never go back together again. I'm not trying to dampen your enthusiasm, just provide some food for thought. In fact, I'm pretty excited to hear about your find from 700 miles away. Please keep us posted.
