I've run the Kumho Ecsta V700 race tires on my 75 before. The impression I got was that it is a decent tire, but it's no fireball. That is to say, it's not very fast.

The good thing is, it's very light. As the picture below shows, it weighs very little in the size 205/45/16 (the size I ran). 17lbs was all my bathroom scale registered.

Is it faster than a street tire? Yes. But I'd say you'd be better off with the older Kumho Victoracer tires (if you wanna go cheap).

However, if you were already budgeting for USD150 to USD200, then there's Hoosier, Yoko's, Michelin Pilots, etc. available in that price range that will offer MUCH more performance for not much more cash.
