Simon,
I seam welded all the front suspension points that were tack welded from
the factory. In retrospect, that may not have been a very smart thing to
do, because if I ever have to remove the front clip for collision repair, it
will be very difficult.
Also I am planning on adding a full roll cage to the car, and some cross bracing
between the front suspension. This should pretty much eliminate any body
twisting due to the increase in torque. The Honda engine is not really that
torquey, but the roll cage should help with handling as well.
The car will be dipped in the next few weeks, then I will undercoat with 3M's
Body Shutz, then install the suspension, engine, and take it for a trial run.
Still need to find a secluded street for this, as I will not have any lights, glass
and maybe doors

Any suggestions for a location in the South Bay area?
