There is a way, and I know that some 2000/2600 owners in Germany have succesfully done this in the past. The solution is to fit complete front and rear axles from the Brazilian Alfa Romeo 2300. These were fitted standard with 6,00 X 14" wheels and were available with 195/70 HR 14 or 195/70 SR 14 tyres from 1985 to 1986. The model was discontinued in 1986, but there are still used parts available in Brazil. Since the Alfa Romeo 2300 is a 102-series derived car, the wheels fit perfectly on the Italian 102 and 106 cars. The 2300 hubs allow an enormous variety of aftermarket wheels to be fitted.
