The Romeo van started as 'Autotutto'. I suppose Alfa Romeo with this name meant "all purpose".
The high-roof van mentioned in this thread is one of three, formerly owned by Alfa Romeo itself and used as a mobile office. Only three were built. I don't know if the other ones still exist, but this one is unrestored but in very well condition. Allthough it had unfortunately to be towed when it appeared at the Concourd d'Élégance at Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, last week.

Also on display was a flatbed delivery truck on Romeo 2 basis, unrestored as well but with all the patina.
