Ok, back on topic.

After a weekend and a couple of evenings of chieseling sound insulation it is as good as it will get. I took out eveything except some under the gas tank and at the front firewall - the madness must end at some point

So, the grand total, drums... 25.5 lbs - I hope this serves as a mythbuster, whether busted or not. Anyone now knows exactly what they'll get in return for their sweat. Was it worth it? I would do it again
