Max,

Good question, I have been trying to figure out an economical
way of weighin both engines. Thought of using a strain strip
on the arm of the engine hoist, and lifting each of them the
same way and compare readings. I think the strips glue onto
beams, and one can measure the change in resistance as they
are strained. Not sure where to buy these. Anyone have ideas?
I guess bath scales are out

As far as the clearance, I think if you look a few pages back I posted
a pic with the motor in place. I think that the oil pan is actaully less
vulnerable than the Alfa's, in fact, I dont think I need any guard.

Max, I have been surfing your website, and love your suspension kits.
Especially the lightened spring pans, and small springs!
When I start building the suspension, I will definetely contact you.

The project is moving at a turtles pace, mostly due to work. I have
been cutting small bits and peices to finish the welding of all the cross
members, and new floor pans, and tranny tunnel. I should get some time
this weekend. I'll post more progress then.
