I had the opposite of this issue.
My first glovebox would hardly open, took a hell of a lot to move..i mean a good amount of force.
Then i got the parts car, and it had what appeared to be a newer glove box (delivery number on the side) and when i accelerated it would slightly slide open.
I think for newer glove boxes (or maybe worn out ones?) the plastic on track wears down enough that it begins to slide out.
Really ruins the milanos 'no glovebox' secret though.
