replacing hood "bumpers"

I got supposedly exact replacement hood "bumpers" (rubber top on threaded bolt) from Germany for my 2600 spider;

unfortunately, the bolt is far larger than the OEM nut that rests in the little restraining "cup" in the bracket.

anyone encountered a similar situation? any suggestions on what to do?

thanks

D&SW

Doug Field in the UK has had a batch made and sells them at £5 each

I fitted two to my 2600 spider in 5 minutes - easiest job I 've ever done on the car. Fit these and send the wrong ones back

contact is

doug.field@btinternet.com

cheers

Ian

Are you talking Series 1 or 2 rubber stops?
