Shed Light on this Subject?

I have a pair of lights which I thought were 1964 2600 Touring Spider front turn indicator lights, but now I am skeptical. Can anybody help me understand what I have?

Lenses are amber in color, three sided, in a metal casing. The shape is roughly a parallelogram; the rear is 4 inches (100 mm) wide and the front is the same width. These are not the same shape as my 1963 2600 Touring Spider front winking lights which have white lenses in a container 5¼ inches (130 mm) in the rear and 4 inches in the front.

What really got me thinking these are not for a Touring Spider is they have screw holes in the chrome casings and what is apparently a drain hole in each one – these are mounted UNDER the bumper.

I will attach photos if somebody can show me how this works...

The chrome shrouds are from a Series 1 Sprint. Here are the relevant Sprint catalog pages from the single volume parts catalog Pub. Diass. No. 992:

Is it possible these amber lenses are used for another model as well? These definitely have two holes with beveled entrances for tapered screws and water drain holes, indicating they mount under the bumber not on top. The drawing of the casings are accurate except for the holes.

Similar But Different

On my Sprint the bumper mounted turn signals and reverse lights have similar housings with different color lenses. The front turn signals are mounted above the bumper, with no extra holes in the housings, and amber lenses. I believe the lenses are the same as some GT models, I remember getting replacements from Centerline. The reverse lights are mounted below the bumper, with drain holes in the housings, and clear lenses. I've been told that the right(?) rear is similar to the Duetto, but I haven't compared.

Those sound like the indicators used on the US spec 1969 GTV and Berlina.
