2600 SZ for sale

This came up on a search on the UK Ebay site. Thought I'd post it here as not everyone looks there and it might be of interest to some who track these cars. No financial interest or knowledge, just posting:

Alfa Romeo 2600 SZ Zagato Sprint, ultra rare car and incredible find, don't miss | eBay

Lots of money!!!!

Might be an excellent investment, Dan. Certainly rare enough. Go to it. I notice it has weber carburetors and the cold air box and air filter are not there. Perhaps these are all in the trunk? When I look at this all I see are dollar signs.

Thanks, Dan!

I believe this might be a car that disappeared from the private register I'm maintaining a while ago -- and I have been trying to locate it for about 15 years. I asked the seller about the chassis number (to see if I'm correct) and am waiting for a response.

Hi Jay,

No interest in acquiring this car. Still working on my 102 and keeping the SS on the road. I just posted this for others to check out.

All the best....Dan

I know how much cost a restoration process !

I don't really know if there is a "high price" market for these cars....

People who said that the value is between X and Y never sold one.
And what do we really know about the real price paid by a buyer for a restored car, there is no testimony.

That restoration will be expensive... basically reconstructing the whole car... assuming the engine is not seized. good luck!

Seller says that he takes a first deposit...

How, because through ebay it was impossible I guess. So maybe a local sale ?
