2600 lug bolts/nuts help needed

Hello,

I am in the process of a 65 2600 spyder restoration(all wheel disc brake)...... 3 of the left rear wheel lug bolts spin. I suspect that previous owner did not realize that these are RH threads..and overtightened. The lug nuts do not tighten properly, and the threads are damageg on the lug bolts/nuts.

I would like to replace all 5 lug bolts, and nuts. Any sources? Can these be replaced on the hub in situ? Or does the hub have to come off and the bolts pressed out/in?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Thank you

Hello Herve,

Thanks for your reply. I would be most interested in at least one wheel's worth of lug/bolts for the driver's side, and perhaps some for the passenger side. Please email at vasquezpv@yahoo.com with your email address, pricing, etc. Looking for other 2600 parts as the restoration proceeds.......Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Paul

Hello Herve,
I know this is a little off topic, but I wonder if after your wire wheel conversion you might also have a spare set of hubcaps. I have a '64 2600 spider, and one of its hubcaps is warped and just won't stay on. Though I only need the one hubcap, I wouldn't mind a set of four so as to have some back-ups. I'm pretty sure the caps I have are the type that originally came standard on this model, but I'd be happy to e-mail you a photo if that would help.
Thanks very much,
Joe

Hello David
I did the borrani wire wheels conversion(with 16 inche wheels, to be abble to put wider tires) Even using 16 inche wire wheels with modern tires the tire is slightly shorter(1/2 inche)
