On 2600?

I can visualize how and where one might be able to bolt the intake runners to the intake side of a 2600 engine, BUT then the carburetors would have to be downdraft rather than side draft. The 90 degree bend is not exciting, and the opposite ends are not conducive to webers. How good are you at welding aluminum? Without some serious modification I can't see where these would be of benefit to a 2600. Only beneficial aspect I see is that these are already divided into three sections. You could try and be unsuccessful on trying to adopt one to a 2600 and then offer the other two for some poor old two liter lover. Might be just what that someone could use with a narrow engine compartment homebuilt supposed to look like a 2600 monza using a two liter engine with down drafts. Hummmm? Nah!!~

Too much trouble, in my opinion. Just imagine for a second how you would want to deal with the with the cooling passages for the engine, and you'll find it much easier to modify a Solex manifold.
